QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE To Celebrate NATASHA SHNEIDER's Life With Hollywood Concert

QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE will perform a concert in celebration of the life of singer/songwriter Natasha Shneider on Saturday, August 16 at the Henry Fonda Theater in Hollywood, California.

QOTSA will be accompanied by friends PJ Harvey, Jack Black + Kyle Gass, Matt Cameron, Brody Dalle, Jesse Hughes, Billy F. Gibbons, Chris Goss, and Alain Johannes, who will help them perform songs from the limits of the QOTSA catalog and beyond.

Proceeds from the event will go to defray the costs associated with Natasha's battle with cancer.

Tickets are $100 and go on sale this Saturday, July 19 at Ticketmaster.com.

Shneider, who was born in Moscow, Russia, formed ELEVEN in 1990 with husband and guitarist Alain Johannes and former RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS drummer Jack Irons. The group's "Awake In A Dream" debut was released in 1991 and was followed by "Eleven" (1993),"Thunk" (1995),"Avantgardedog" (2000) and "Howling Book" (2003).

Shneider died on July 1 at the age of 52.
